Offering a full range of building solutions, the team works on everything from small renovations to full scale projects, with a focus on quality workmanship, reliability and attention to detail. The challenge

JMP Building Services already had a strong reputation and a steady flow of work through recommendations. However, their existing website did not reflect the quality of their projects or the professionalism of the service they provide. It felt dated, lacked clarity, and did not showcase the full range of work JMP delivers across Essex.


There was no clear structure to help homeowners quickly understand what JMP offers, the types of projects they specialise in, or what working with them looks like in practice. Their portfolio, one of their strongest assets, was underused and failed to show the true standard of their extensions, refurbishments and new builds.



The site also did little to support local search visibility. Key service areas such as Brentwood, Shenfield and Billericay were not clearly represented, making it harder for new customers to find JMP online. On mobile devices, the experience felt clunky and outdated, despite most visitors discovering the business through recommendations or local searches on their phones.

We started by clarifying JMP’s positioning and site structure. The homepage and core messaging present JMP as a leading home extension and refurbishment company serving Brentwood and Essex.


Clear service pages were created for extensions, renovations, loft conversions, garage conversions and new builds. The content is structured around the questions homeowners actually ask, including what is included, how the process works, realistic timescales, and how to get started. This helps visitors quickly understand what JMP does and whether they are the right fit.

JMP’s portfolio is one of their strongest assets, so we made it central to the site. A dedicated portfolio section showcases extensions, open plan kitchens, loft conversions, refurbishments and new builds. Each project uses strong imagery, a short explanation of the brief and outcome, and the benefits for the homeowner. The visuals highlight quality finishes, attention to detail and tidy, well managed sites.


The portfolio now does much of the selling for JMP, building trust before the first conversation even happens.

Finally, we laid strong local SEO foundations. The site is optimised around core services and key locations across Brentwood and Essex, with clean URLs and headings that match real search behaviour. Pages load quickly and are technically sound, giving JMP a solid platform to build on with future content, reviews and campaigns without needing another redesign.
