Privacy Policy
Introduction
This Privacy Policy outlines Qivo Innovation Limited (" we ", " our " or " the Company ") practices with respect to information collected from users who access our website at www.qivo.co.uk (" Site "), or otherwise share personal information with us (collectively: " Users ").
Grounds for data collection
Processing of your personal information (meaning any information which may potentially allow your identification with reasonable means, hereinafter "Personal Information") is carried out on the following legal grounds:
Contract: to process and fulfil customer orders, provide our products/services, manage your account and communicate with you about your order or enquiry.
Legitimate interests: to respond to general enquiries, operate and improve our website, understand how visitors use our site (for example through Google Analytics) and protect our business and users.
Consent (where applicable): where you choose to submit information via our chatbot or sign up to receive optional communications, we process that information based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
What information we collect
We collect two types of data and information from users of the Site.
1. Non-personal Information
The first type of information is un-identified and non-identifiable information relating to a user, which may be collected through your use of the Site (“Non-personal Information”). We are not aware of the identity of the user from whom the Non-personal Information is collected.
Non-personal Information may include for example:
- Aggregated usage information about how the Site is used
- Technical information transmitted by your device, such as browser type, operating system, language preference and access times
- Information about your activity on the Site, such as pages viewed, clicks and other browsing actions
This information is mainly collected through tools such as Google Analytics and is used to help us operate and improve the Site.
2. Personal Information
The second type of information is Personal Information, which is information that identifies an individual or can, with reasonable effort, identify an individual.
We only collect Personal Information that is relevant to handling customer enquiries, setting up and managing your website, taking payment for our services and operating our Site. This may include:
Contact details
Name, email address, telephone number and, where relevant, business name and billing address when you sign up for our services or contact us.
Service and account information
Details of the website package or services you choose, your subscription or payment plan, your order history and any information you provide that is needed to set up, design and manage your website. For example this may include website content, preferences, brand details or instructions you give us. Payment card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by us in full.
Basket and sign up information
Information about services you add to your basket or checkout but do not complete, so that we can understand interest in our services and, where appropriate, send reminders about unfinished sign ups or abandoned carts.
Communication data
The content of emails you send to us, information submitted through contact forms and any information you choose to provide through our chatbot when making an enquiry or asking a question.
Technical and usage data
IP address and other online identifiers, together with information about how you interact with the Site. This may be collected through analytics tools such as Google Analytics and, in some cases, may be treated as Personal Information where it can be linked to you as an individual.
We do not intentionally collect any special categories of personal data (such as health information or information about your race, religion or political opinions), and we ask you not to include such information in enquiries or when providing content for your website unless it is strictly necessary.
How do we receive information about you?
We receive your Personal Information from various sources:
- When you voluntarily provide us your personal details in order to register on our Site;
- When you use or access our Site in connection with your use of our services;
- From third party providers, services and public registers (for example, traffic analytics vendors).
